Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a SMT Operator in Madison AL . Our client is a leading provider of Electronic Manufacturing Services. The SMT operator is responsible for various repetitive bench or line operations to mass-produce electronic assembly products. Additionally, may be required to lead improvement teams and report productivity and/or process improvements. Responsibilities of a

SMT Operatorincludes :

Follows written and/or verbal instructions and processes. Operates manufacturing equipment in accordance with correct procedures. Complies with EPA and OSHA codes and regulations; Adheres to proper safety practices in the performance of all tasks. Protects electronics components and assemblies from ESD damage through proper use of ESD protection equipment. Maintains a clean work environment by performing routine housekeeping tasks. Inputs ideas and concerns on procedures, processes, quality issues, safety issues, etc. Maintains designated takt time at multiple task operations (i.e. hand load more than 1 component). Inspect PCB Assemblies per IPC-610 (SMT and Thru-Hole Solder Joints). Correctly solder thru-hole and SMT components (per IPC-610 class 2). Perform basic manufacturing calculations (productivity, productivity score, cycle time, drop rate) and analyze manufacturing bottlenecks for productivity improvements. Performs basic maintenance procedures for SMT equipment and machine component identification. Additionally, be able to identify, understand and observe SMT equipment safety precautions for maintenance procedures. All other duties as assigned by management to ensure the success of Client

REQUIRED

Experience and Education:

1-2 years' experience in electronics manufacturing. Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
