Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Technician to drive the operational scaling and high-yield assembly of product lines. They will be responsible for the development of test and calibration equipment. The position exists to maintain high quality standards in a mixed environment of distribution, light manufacturing, and engineered solutions. Job Duties (including but not limited to): Develop, improve, and standardize assembly processes for electro-mechanical products, including clear work instructions, process flows, and visual standards. Own and optimize test and calibration processes, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, traceability, and efficient data capture. Build and maintain manufacturing routings, BOMs, and process data in Acumatica ERP, ensuring alignment between ERP systems and shop floor operations. Design and implement fixtures, tooling, test setups, and assembly aids, coordinating with external vendors as needed. Troubleshoot production issues, field failures, RMAs, and process bottlenecks while supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions. Partner with Quality and Operations teams to improve inspection standards, compliance, production efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives. Train and mentor technicians on assembly, testing, calibration procedures, troubleshooting, and operational best practices. Work hands-on on the production floor to improve builds in real time, resolve technical issues, and optimize manufacturing flow. Support process updates, redlining, and documentation improvements to enable scalable, high-performing operations.
Required Education and Experience:
5+ years in: Manufacturing technician, senior technician, or manufacturing engineering role Strong hands-on experience in: Mechanical and instrumentation assembly Test and calibration environments Demonstrated ability to translate real-world builds into standardized processes Preferred (not Required):
Preferred:
CAD experience for tooling/fixture design and exposure to semiconductor manufacturing environments.
