The entire production process has been meticulously developed from the ground up, ensuring each transmission is built in a cleanroom environment and constructed to exacting standards through a precisely documented and controlled process.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Torque Converter (TC) Specialist to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing, assembling, repairing, and testing torque converters. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the performance and reliability of our drivetrain components.
Key Responsibilities:
Disassemble, inspect, and diagnose torque converters for wear, damage, or failure. Rebuild and assemble torque converters to meet OEM specifications and Moveras quality standards. Operate specialized equipment for balancing, welding, and pressure testing torque converters. Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and testing procedures. Work closely with the engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve technical issues. Assist in continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and tools. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
2+ years of hands-on experience with torque converters or in a related automotive transmission role. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with drivetrain systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams. Experience with welding, balancing, or hydraulic testing equipment is a plus. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
ASE Certification or equivalent automotive technical training. Prior experience in a remanufacturing or OEM production facility.
