Yerecic Label, a leader in flexographic label printing, is seeking a skilled Production Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting label application issues, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Essential Functions:
Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on production machinery, including Mark Andy presses and FlexoWash equipment. Coordinate OEM maintenance contracts and preventive maintenance schedules. Manage ordering and maintenance of materials and tooling with vendors. Maintain company vehicles, ensuring operational readiness and scheduling services. Provide onsite technical support for label application issues at customer locations.
Facility Coordination:
Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance, ensuring proper scheduling and documentation. Oversee order fulfillment and coordinate with carriers for pickups. Assist with shipment data recording and verification. Support Facility Coordinator as needed.
Back-Up Delivery Driver:
Deliver product using company vehicles, including vans and trucks.
Qualifications:
Technical school or Associate's degree preferred, with 2-6 years of industry experience. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Great Plains. Clean driving record and ability to maintain DOT Medical Certification.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts. Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting up to 70 lbs.
