Job Description

Job Title:
Manufacturing Technician Job Description This role involves manufacturing and assembling precision test and measurement equipment. You will calibrate and test products, assist with inventory management, and support team members in lifting materials, requiring physical effort for lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities Assemble printed circuit boards into enclosures. Log quality control, test, and calibration information. Label products and package them for shipping. Receive and process packages. Manufacture and assemble precision test and measurement equipment. Assist purchasing and shipping departments with projects as needed. Work on inventory control and participate in inventory counts. Essential Skills Electro-mechanical troubleshooting. Proficiency in PCB troubleshooting. Extreme attention to detail. Extensive PC skills. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Understanding of GMP, GDP, work order travelers, Bill of Materials, circuit board assembly, and electrical testing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical inclination and detail-oriented approach. Hand dexterity for assembly, calibration, and packaging. Ability to follow verbal and documented instructions. Self-starter with an inquisitive nature. Prior experience in manufacturing is a bonus but not required. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alameda, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
