This is a temp-to-hire opportunity where the successful candidate will perform critical inspections of printed circuit board assemblies, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and specifications. Responsibilities Responsible for setup and operation of 2D AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machines. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure workmanship that complies with the appropriate requirements from engineering drawings, process specifications, industry standards (IPC-610, J-STD-001), and customer-specific criteria. Use precision measuring instruments such as smart tweezers and calipers and pin gauges to determine adherence to electrical and dimensional specifications on first articles, in-process inspections, and production runs. Operate equipment in a fast-paced electro-mechanical production environment. Communicate defects not captured by equipment to responsible personnel for enhancement of program integrity. Communicate to assembly operators any defects noted during the AOI operations so that corrections can be quickly implemented. Perform and record results of first article inspections and in-process inspections of assemblies and input data into the associated database. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in electronics assembly manufacturing or similar industry. Experience operating Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machine and the ability to interpret Engineering Documentation and work instructions. 3 years of Electronic Manufacturing. Comprehension of IPC-610 and
J-STD-001
standards. Must understand how electronic components are oriented and be able to distinguish the different part numbers. 1 year of experience in a regulated industry such as ISO9001, AS9100, or
ISO13485.
Required Work Hours Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (2nd Shift) Benefits Competitive hourly pay ranging from $20.50 to $25.50.
