Job Summary:
This is a Full Time Position for Second Shift 2pm-10:30pm The Production Technician plays a critical role in the manufacturing and packaging process, ensuring efficient production of high-quality cannabis products. This position requires a fast paced, detail-oriented individual who can work on their feet, handle machinery, and adhere to industry compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
o Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery to produce finished products, including pre-rolls, cartridges, and various confectionaries. o Handle ground and unground flower, budlets, and buds to prepare finished products. o Perform accurate weighing of cannabis ingredients, adhering to compliant regulatory practices. o Assemble products with exceptional quality o Accurately place cannabis products into childproof bags, containers, or other packaging in specified increments. o Correctly seal and label all packages following compliance standards. o Assemble secondary and tertiary packaging elements such as branded inserts and boxes efficiently. o Operate basic machinery, including band sealers and hand scales. o Input data accurately into department platforms, including Track & Trace systems. o Adhere to all legal and company regulations governing the cannabis industry.
Job Requirements:
You must be able to work at a fast pace efficiently while meeting quality standards. Work is based on objectives, projects, and priorities rather than fixed hours; occasional overtime may be required. Ability to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for extended periods during the work schedule. Proficient in using a computer and/or calculator for 8 hours or more. Must comply with all legal and company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.
