MADE in the USA! For over 20 years we have applied our technology to Destroy, Purify, & Defend perishables including Meats, Poultry, Seafood, Fresh Fruit & Vegetables, Nuts, Wine, and Flowers. With the growing concern over employee and customer health and safety, we have expanded to support the indoor surface & air sanitation environments.
Manufacturing:
Primarily responsible for performing bench or line assembly operations on a variety of products. Responsible for compliance to Quality Systems Regulations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for assembly of product using hand tool in accordance with specification and work instructions. Performs necessary quality control and documentation completion. Responsible for training and learning a variety of workstations by following training guidelines. Flexes up and down the line as necessary. Responsible for learning and compliance to policies/ procedures applicable to the position. Responsible for working closely with department manufacturing scheduler to assure proper work order tracking and required work order notes. Responsible for following department area procedures and work instructions. Responsible for reporting on a variety of matters such as scrap, safety, training, attendance, purchase orders, etc. Participates in a self-managed team. Assumes specific responsibilities on a rotating basis for activities/items such as team representative, team indicators, team meeting minutes, etc. Responsible for following all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines. Performs necessary preventative maintenance. May work on special projects/assignments upon request.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend (in English) simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Documents may include work orders, work instructions, manuals, policies, and procedures, etc. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Some computer skills are a required.
