2 months ago Description SkillsetGroup is seeking a Line Mechanic to work in the Glendale, CA area. The Line Mechanic will be responsible for performing production line setups, equipment changeovers, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting packaging equipment to minimize downtime and keep production running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing line mechanic experience in the cosmetics, personal care, food, or pharmaceutical industry and be bilingual in English and Spanish. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity.

$25.00

DOE Shift:
Schedule flexibility required.
One Shift:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM
•3:30 PM
Two Shifts:
1st
Shift:
5:40 AM
•2:00 PM
2nd
Shift:
2:00 PM
•10:30
PM Responsibilities:
Perform production line setups and equipment changeovers.
Support preventative maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot and repair basic production line equipment.
Respond quickly to line issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain fillers, tube fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, pumps, pneumatic systems, and inkjet coders.
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing machine parts.
Follow GMP, safety, and sanitation procedures.
Work closely with production staff and supervisors.
Qualifications:
Manufacturing line mechanic experience required.
Experience in cosmetics, personal care, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, pumps, pneumatic systems, and packaging equipment.
Experience with Accutek, Filamatic, Simplex, Label-Aire, Norden/Nordenmatic, or Videojet equipment is a plus.
Spanish or bilingual English/Spanish required.
