A Manufacturing or Production Technician works with manufacturing equipment and machinery. Performs set up and tests, monitors, adjusts and repairs machines used to produce products or other machines. Inspects equipment, troubleshoots problems with machines or designs.

6am to 2:30PM to start Monday to Friday with 2 Saturdays per month After training 1 candidate could work 6AM to 2:30PM and the other could work 11AM to 7:30
PM Duties & Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and facilities equipment. Troubleshoot and maintain electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, motor control, and machine control systems. Respond to equipment/process issues and trouble calls in a timely manner. Perform daily preventive maintenance to keep equipment operational. Perform equipment modifications, upgrades, and new installations. Document maintenance activities and work orders in the CMMS. Maintain spare parts inventory for assigned areas. Follow cGMP, GDP, EHS, SOP, LOTO, Arc Flash, and other safety requirements. Read and work from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, building drawings, and part diagrams. Participate in continuous improvement projects and support plant production.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of maintenance experience on automated manufacturing machines/equipment. Experience troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing/packaging equipment. PLC experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Omron. Experience with motor controls, VFDs/VSDs, servo motors, stepper motors, and pneumatic systems. Electrical experience with AC/DC motors, drives, relays, switches, sensors, solenoids, servo motors, and electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase. Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience with photo eyes, sensors, limit switches, proximity sensors, and temperature controllers. Experience with CMMS. Understanding of cGMP regulations and manufacturing SOPs. Ability to perform physical requirements including climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, grasping, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally. Preferred Qualifications (not compulsary): Maximo CMMS experience.
SCADA/EMS/BMS
experience. Cognex or Keyence vision system experience. Experience with high-speed packaging equipment, pick-and-place systems, conveyors, ultrasonic welders, extrusion equipment, rubber processing equipment, and continuous inkjet printing systems. Facility equipment experience, including compressed air, vacuum, HVAC, and RO water systems. Machining, welding, or tooling experience. Strong procedural writing skills. #
