Hayward, California Schedule:
Monday
  • Thursday, 6:00am
  • 4:30pm (4✗10 shift) Pay rate: $25
  • $27/HR (DOE) Position Summary Seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support pharmaceutical and supplement production.
The role involves routine tasks such as weighing raw materials, mixing, blending, wet granulation, inspection, and tablet compression. Responsible for operating machines to compress ingredients into tablets, inspecting finished product, and testing for quality. Key Responsibilities Inspect manufacturing areas and equipment for cleanliness and proper setup before batch processing. Follow instructions on batch record cards for correct material types and quantities. Weigh materials using calibrated scales to meet specified requirements. Complete batch documentation in compliance with GMP standards. Test tablets for hardness and size; adjust machines as necessary. Maintain sanitation practices and adhere to GMP procedures. Follow all safety and lockout/tagout SOPs. Support other departments as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D. Previous manufacturing experience in a GMP environment (preferred). Working knowledge of metric weights and liquid measurements. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
