2:15 PM - 11:00 PM Job SummaryThe Precision Racker supports Machine Operators by properly fixturing products onto designated racks for cleaning and Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) vacuum coating processes. This position is responsible for accurately tagging, documenting, recording, and maintaining production records while ensuring customer products and tooling are handled with care. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and follow the production flow and PVD coating sequence. Process work orders completely while maintaining product traceability. Handle products and tooling carefully to prevent damage. Properly fixture and un-rack parts according to work orders. Select racks based on the size, shape, and quantity of parts. Transfer racked products weighing up to 40 pounds to automated cleaning equipment. Visually inspect parts to verify finishes meet specifications. Complete required paperwork, tags, and production documentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & SkillsAbility to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Strong sense of urgency and efficiency. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Ability to identify and communicate discrepancies and assist with solutions. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED required. Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred. Minimum 2 years of related experience preferred. Experience with vacuum coating, PVD coatings, or vacuum equipment is a plus. Familiarity with mechanical or computer-controlled machinery and measuring tools preferred. Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods, including 8+ hours per day. Ability to walk, reach above and below shoulder level, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl as required. Ability to lift and carry approximately 1-50 pounds when necessary. Work may involve exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise.
