For immediate consideration, please send resume to t d e l g a d o@appleone.com Position Overview The Lead Production Technician is responsible for overseeing daily production operations while actively performing hands-on technical work. This role combines machine operation expertise with team leadership to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiency are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Production & Technical Execution Set up, adjust, and maintain silk screen printing and/or laser marking equipment Perform machine parameter setup, first-article verification, and process optimization Troubleshoot technical issues such as misalignment, print defects, or unclear laser marking Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance Leadership & Production Oversight Lead daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets Allocate manpower, machines, and workstations based on production schedules Ensure adherence to work instructions, quality standards, safety protocols, and 5S practices Monitor production performance and address issues related to quality, equipment, or staffing Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Support Support process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and yield Partner with Engineering and Quality teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions Identify production bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements Team Development & Management Train, coach, and provide technical guidance to production operators Support onboarding and skill development of new hires Assist with attendance tracking, performance monitoring, and maintaining a stable work environment Qualifications & Requirements Technical school certificate or associate degree preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and machine setup capabilities Strong communication and team leadership skills Basic knowledge of design software (e.g., Photoshop) is a plus Willingness to work flexible shifts as needed Bilingual (English/Spanish/Chinese) is a plus Key Competencies Leadership and accountability Technical expertise Problem-solving and decision-making Continuous improvement mindset Strong attention to detail and quality Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
