capability to the therapeutic oligonucleotide discovery and development industry. Centred out of LGC's site in Kulmbach, Germany, Axolabs works closely with its customers to assist the identification and development of lead candidates with a broad suite of bioinformatics, biology, chemistry, manufacturing and analytical services that support discovery, pre-clinical and clinical trials and scale-up manufacture. With a track record in Nucleic Acid Therapeutics that traces back more than 20 years, Axolabs provides deep knowledge and expertise in the services it provides, working collaboratively and responsively with its clients to assist them in achieving their objectives. Axolabs facility in Petaluma is focused on manufacturing scale-up and production to cGMP of multigram to kilograms of API for pre-clinical and clinical development. Our site in California has been involved in oligonucleotide synthesis for three decades and established the therapeutics activity in 2019. With around 70 staff and two manufacturing trains, Axolabs offers a flexible manufacturing service out of Petaluma that draws where necessary on our industry and chemical and analytical expertise in Kulmbach.Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Technician will perform routine processes associated with oligonucleotide manufacturing in the LGC Petaluma Therapeutic GMP suite.
Processes include:
synthesis, cleavage and deprotection, purification, desalting, and lyophilization of oligonucleotides.What you'll doPerform manufacturing processes (synthesis, purification, desalt, freeze drying, etc) in accordance with the production schedule and maintain a high quality of work that aligns with internal standard operating procedures and cGMP protocols.
Work with an array of equipment (synthesizers, HPLC purifiers, HPLC columns, TFF skids, lyophilizers, etc) for production at various scalesMaintain batch records, logs, and other production records as directed per company procedures and cGMP protocols.
Maintain a safe and orderly laboratory environment through regular cleanings and organization that is in alignment with internal GMP SOPsDevelop best practices to facilitate execution of manufacturing operations in accordance with SOPs.

Monday to Thursday, 05:30 am to 4:00 pmQualificationsMinimumQualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related field- OR•1-3 years of experience in a chemical lab setting preferably cGMP or oligonucleotide related.
Qualifications:
Familiar with cleanroom practices and regulatory compliance. Experience with mid to large scale laboratory equipment and operations. $ 20.90 /Hourly Maximum $34.86 /HourlyTechnician II, Manufacturing Minimum:
$ 23.08 /Hourly Maximum $38.46 /HourlyTechnician III, Manufacturing Minimum:
$ 25.39 / Hourly Maximum $42.31/HourlyThis range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for the California- based position.
