Job Description
Kelly Engineering is hiring a
- Manufacturing Tech II
- for a long-term contract with one of our Global
- Medical Device Robotics

- Manufacturing Technicians II.
- Manufacturing Technician II
- is primarily responsible for
- providing updates to the line lead/ engineers on build/work status
- Key responsibilities
- :•+ •Updates Manufacturing leadership on work status or problems with recommendations for improvement or correction•.
- Troubleshoot
- electrical, test, mechanical, facilities or hydraulic systems, components, and equipment.
- Prepared to support not only assembly efforts on the production floor, but also support all repairs & rework
- + Will be required to learn and attain proficiency with additional areas of production as required + Will support and strive to be proficient in troubleshooting processes within the subsystem and more (as needed) + Records assignments and prepares documentation concerning materials, parts used, concepts, designs, drawings, and processes. +
- Administers test protocols and documents results. Coordinates the manufacturing phase of new products or product changes
- . + Responds to safety issues by recommending and implementing a resolution. Completes specialized studies or experiments and prepares reports on results. + Employee will need to be familiar with

- Qualifications and Requirements
- + Vocational training Certificate, Technical or Associates degree preferred
- or equivalent + Proof of a High School diploma + A minimum of 2-4 years of equivalent work experience required +
- Must have experience as a Manufacturing technician for a Type I or II medical device company or complex electromechanical capital equipment manufacturer,
- with hands-on experience with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) or the equivalent.
- 1-2 years of minimum experience as an assembler, tester
- , or associate of a Type II or Type III
- medical device company or complex electromechanical capital equipment manufacturer
- + Ability to work
- overtime
- ( as needed by business). These hours will vary from starting before 6 am and extending beyond 2:30 pm to include weekends. + Ability to communicate with cross-functional stakeholders within their team. + Works well with a diverse team of different skill sets. - Kanban Operations
- and GDP processes + Familiar with not only manufacturing production & assembly but also testing procedures that involve Ubuntu software and MES.

Experience with using Learning Management Systems such as Cornerstone, AGILE PLM, MES, and SAP. Days and hours of work are- Monday through Friday; work hours may vary between 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (1
- st•shift) or 10 am-6:30 pm (2•nd•shift).
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This role is based in Santa Clara. Working overtime may be required.
