Job Title:
Production Technician Job Description We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team making roof flashings and other roof accessories. In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal products, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production processes. Responsibilities Operate machinery and tools for cutting, bending, and assembling sheet metal components. Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools. Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Assist in quality control processes to ensure products meet specifications. Essential Skills Basic labor experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of mechanical processes and tool operation. English speaking skills, with comfort in a Spanish speaking environment. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform required physical tasks. Willingness to learn new skills and help in other departments. Attention to detail to ensure quality and safety standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in soldering and/or sheet metal work. Experience in fabrication, general labor, or assembly. Why Work Here? Work Environment The department operates within a manufacturing facility focused on the fabrication of sheet metal products. This fast-paced and dynamic environment involves hands-on work, including operating machinery, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling products. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots. Collaboration and communication among team members are encouraged to meet production goals efficiently. The structured workflow follows clear processes for production and quality control, requiring adherence to established procedures. Adaptability to changing demands and priorities is essential. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime available but not mandatory. Compliance with a post-offer drug test and Background check is required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Rosa, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
