Production Technician

Description The client is looking for an Production/Manufacturing Technician. Looking for a hands-on technician for electro-mechanical assembly, focused on production for their drones. This role demands specialized hands-on skills in PCBA assembly, electronic potting, and strict manufacturing standards.

• Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly tasks independently, working from schematics, drawings, verbal or written instructions.
• assembly and testing of avionics components (PCB assemblies, cable harnesses, integrated modules) and apply precision adhesives and bonding techniques.
• Provide real-time design and assembly feedback to Manufacturing and Quality teams, escalating and resolving build issues through proper channels.
• Follow detailed Manufacturing Process Instructions and strict safety procedures when building assemblies.
• Meet aggressive deadlines and flexibly shift priorities across multiple projects.
• Record and update data Core Skills
• Mechanical PCBA assembly, Assembly experience using hand/power tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, drills, calipers/measurement tools, etc.)
• Ability to read basic SOP's and non-technical instructions and follow directions
• Soldering (nice to have)
• Torque-controlled fastening
• Cable and harness routing
• Electronic potting processes
• Experience with bonding composites (carbon fiber, epoxies): Mixing, dispensing, and curing.
• Following Manufacturing protocols
• Basic computer skills ex. MacOS or Microsoft
• Fabrication or assembly experience with sheet metal and/or tube assemblies
