Job Description

Purpose of the Role The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for hands-on assembly of products while supporting product quality, testing, and efficient daily manufacturing operations. This role helps increase production capacity, maintain quality standards, and solve day-to-day production issues in a small, hands-on team environment. Key Responsibilities Production & Assembly Actively participate in product assembly and daily manufacturing activities. Follow production schedules and priorities to support on-time delivery. Operate, set up, and adjust tools and equipment as needed. Support packaging and shipment preparation when required. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Quality & Testing Support Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to defined procedures. Identify supplier or component quality issues early, contain affected material, and support corrective actions. Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. Assist with product testing and verification activities. Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments. Hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment. Basic math skills for measurements, quantities, and routine calculations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Flexibility to support changing business priorities. Basic understanding of workplace safety practices. Key Success Factors High-quality, timely assembly of products. Increased production output in line with customer demand. Fast identification and resolution of production or quality issues. Accurate execution of inspections, testing, and documentation. Reliable support of delivery schedules and customer expectations. Positive contribution to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
