Full-Time About Alpha Metalcraft Group (AMG) AMG Danbury is a leading manufacturer of electroformed components supporting critical aerospace and defense applications. Our products include rotorcraft composite blade leading-edge abrasion strips, turbine engine outer guide vane erosion sheaths, and missile and rocket wing slot heat shield electroforms used in mission-critical environments. Our Danbury facility is the largest AS9100-certified electroforming operation of its kind, encompassing more than 40,000 square feet of specialized manufacturing space and advanced processing capabilities. Position Summary AMG Danbury is seeking a hands-on Electroforming Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining electroforming equipment and processes while supporting daily production requirements. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, process compliance, and on-time delivery of precision electroformed components. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain electroforming equipment in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and process specifications. Measure, mark, mask, and prepare components for electroforming and plating operations. Monitor production processes and maintain electroforming bath chemistry and related process controls. Perform inspections and identify product or process non-conformances. Maintain effective communication with supervisors, engineering, quality, and production personnel regarding work status, issues, and improvements. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, waste reduction, on-time delivery, and 6S workplace organization. Assist Engineering and Manufacturing teams with process analysis and production support activities. Follow all company policies, quality standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements. Complete assigned work accurately and within established production schedules. Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, respect, and continuous learning. Qualifications Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-4 years of manufacturing, production, or related technical experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures and work instructions. Ability to identify and communicate quality concerns and process issues. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn specialized manufacturing processes. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications Mechanical aptitude or prior experience working with manufacturing equipment. Experience in aerospace, defense, metal finishing, plating, electroforming, machining, or related industries. Familiarity with quality systems such as
AS9100, ISO
9001, or similar regulated manufacturing environments.
