JOB SUMMARY
Takes direction from Manufacturing Engineering to support production to facilitate the manufacturing of simple to highly complex PCB assemblies. Provides technical guidance to others within and outside the manufacturing department on an as required basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support production (PCBA, Cable & Box Build) as needed with programming and/or operation of production equipment, solving technical issues as they arise. Assist in the maintenance and documentation of production equipment which includes: SMT Stencil printer, SPI, SMT placement machines, SMT reflow oven, AOI, X-Ray, Selective Solder, Wave Solder, PCB Depanelization Router, AMP K-Press, Labeling Systems, Conformal Coating, PCB wash systems, MicroVu. Review and address all Technical Action Requests. Analyzes Manufacturing Change Notices to determine the most efficient way of introducing such changes into the production process. Other duties and projects may be assigned as business needs dictate. Team player willing to roll up sleeves and help other team members when necessary. Specialized Duties Assists with build jigs and fixtures that are required to support the manufacturing process. Perform high skill level rework as needed, such as BGA?s, QFN?s, Connectors, etc?
