Parts Washer (Wash Tank Technician)

Electro-Methods, a Stronvar Aerospace Company Overview The Parts Washer (Wash Tank Technician) is responsible for operating industrial cleaning equipment to ensure aerospace components are free of debris, contaminants, and machining residue prior to inspection or downstream operations. This role supports Electro-Methods' Lean flow line by maintaining process cleanliness, ensuring product quality, and sustaining continuous material flow through effective washing and inspection practices.
This role supports:
Creation of standard work Maintaining standard work Training and coaching of standard work Improvement of standard work Key Responsibilities Operate industrial parts washing equipment in accordance with defined procedures. Remove debris from part cavities and ensure components meet cleanliness standards. Utilize a borescope to inspect internal cavities for trapped debris or contamination. Safely load and unload parts into wash systems while maintaining part integrity. Maintain proper communication with the building planner regarding job priorities and flow. Ensure all parts are properly cleaned and ready for inspection or the next process step. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards. Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Required Qualifications & Skills Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Additional Information Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate cleaning equipment and inspection tools safely. Work Environment Industrial wash station environment within a manufacturing facility. Exposure to cleaning systems, chemicals, and production equipment.
