Job Description Job Description Position Overview:
The Paint Line Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining painting equipment on the production line, ensuring high-quality finishes on products, and maintaining a safe and efficient workflow. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate paint line equipment according to standard operating procedures. Apply paint, coatings, or finishes to products with precision and consistency. Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs. Ensure proper preparation of surfaces, including cleaning, sanding, and masking. Inspect painted products for quality and uniformity, identifying defects or inconsistencies. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and environmental regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and goals. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a paint or coating environment preferred. Knowledge of paint application techniques, spray equipment, and surface preparation. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Understanding of safety and environmental regulations related to paint operations. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Exposure to paint fumes and chemicals; proper PPE must be worn.
