Job Description

Manufacturing Technician•Plastics Townley 1st
Shift:
7am•430pm, M-F Additional overtime available as business requires
Compensation:
$16 per hour
Purpose of Role:
Mfg Tech•Plastics are responsible for working in production with consistent speed and accuracy while maintaining production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.
Essential Job Functions:
Pours Urethane into molds and lines different pump parts Operates and maintains machinery and production line equipment Maintains a clean workstation and production floor. Follows production guidelines and specifications. Finalizes and packages products for shipment. Monitors the production line and removes faulty products. Participates in ongoing on-the-job training to adhere to company policies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Pulls and puts away molds and cores based on manufacturing needs

Requirements:
Troubleshoot Molding Problems Ability to accurately read a tape measure Able to use basic hand tools, such as wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, etc. Ability to work as a team as well as being self-directed Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Required Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Physical capability to properly handle tooling and safely set up large pieces; including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products. Must be able to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment: loud noise levels, high temperatures, dirt and sand,

steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, dust masks, and/or respirators.
