Eligible for a pay increase after 90 days Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Production Technician II to support all aspects of the production floor, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality standards, supporting new product development, and training team members. Key Responsibilities Production & Assembly Perform assembly and manufacturing operations using hand tools and specialized equipment Execute repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining production timelines Operate, adjust, and perform basic maintenance on equipment Prepare and apply epoxies per process documentation Testing & Troubleshooting Conduct electrical testing (resistance, dielectric, etc.) Use equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes Diagnose and troubleshoot product failures and defects Perform in-process quality checks to ensure product compliance Quality Assurance Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Verify materials and processes meet specifications Document and report defects, non-conformances, and rework actions Ensure all work aligns with quality and compliance standards Training & Support Train new team members on tools, processes, and procedures Provide technical support to production staff Assist with continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with engineering and leadership to resolve issues Additional Duties Participate in daily production meetings Maintain a clean and organized workspace (6S standards) Support prototype builds and product development activities Track labor, materials, and production data accurately Qualifications Basic Requirements High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting equipment Ability to train others and work independently Skills & Knowledge Mechanical and electrical aptitude Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to quickly learn new processes and technologies Attention to detail with a focus on quality Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Lift up to 30 lbs (with assistance when needed) Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing setting High level of team interaction and collaboration Focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bradenton, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
