Blackout Coffee Co. is a rapidly growing coffee manufacturing and e-commerce company based in Fort Pierce, FL. We are focused on efficiency, quality, and scaling our operations, and we are looking for a motivated entry-level engineer to join our team and grow with us.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Industrial and Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our production equipment. This role is critical to keeping our machines running and minimizing downtime. This is a very hands-on position working directly on the production floor. You will be responsible for fixing equipment, diagnosing issues, and getting new machinery up and running.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair all production equipment (K-cup machines, grinders, mixers, packaging equipment, etc.) Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues quickly and effectively Set up, install, and get new equipment operational Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent downtime Work with vendors and manufacturers to resolve technical issues when needed Identify and implement improvements to increase equipment efficiency Respond to equipment breakdowns and resolve issues in a timely manner Support production team with any equipment-related needs
Job Requirements:
1-3+ years experience in maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical work, or similar hands-on role Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with tools and on equipment daily Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and think independently Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred (Not Required): Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment Basic electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical knowledge Experience with packaging or food production equipment
