Job Description

Roll Forming and Press Operations Technician What a day looks like Your shift kicks off at the Upright Line rolling line. You review the work order and blueprints, then dial in the setup—calibrating the Upright Line and the lower duty line to production specs. With the presses and forming machines ready, you run parts to print, watching gauges and screens while making crisp, on-the-fly adjustments to keep flow, speed, and quality on target. Throughout the run, you validate dimensions with precision tools and gauges, enter production data into PC-based systems, and keep components moving through assembly, packaging, and material handling. You'll operate hand and mechanized tools and use material handling equipment, including trolleys, to stage and move work. Between batches, you perform preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and minor repairs to sustain uptime. If you're certified and authorized, you also execute welding tasks to support production. You maintain documentation, inventory records, and production logs so everything tracks from start to finish. Quality, safety, and standards Follow all work and technological procedures, including IMS and OHS standards. Apply metrological care principles when handling materials, products, machines, and tools. Identify and manage non-conforming products per established protocols.
