Job Description

About the Role As a Manufacturing Equipment Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource, ensuring the seamless operation of high-speed production lines. By leveraging your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, you will drive equipment reliability and optimize manufacturing efficiency to meet daily production targets. Responsibilities Execute complex repairs and proactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime and maximize line output. Perform root cause analysis on electrical and mechanical failures to implement long-term, sustainable solutions. Lead equipment changeovers to facilitate rapid transitions between product runs. Refurbish and rebuild critical components to extend the lifecycle of production assets. Apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies to improve overall equipment effectiveness. Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment. Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electrical systems (up to 480V). Ability to interpret complex technical schematics, blueprints, and operational manuals. Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate equipment at heights. Possession of personal hand tools required for industrial repair tasks. Preferred Skills Formal training or certifications in industrial maintenance or related technical fields. Experience with advanced equipment diagnostics and PLC troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
