As an Automated Straightening & Grinding Line Technician, you will operate and maintain automatic straightening machines and fully automatic grinding lines to support efficient production and product quality. This role requires precision, adherence to safety standards, troubleshooting capabilities, and collaboration with cross-functional manufacturing teams.   • 7:00 AM Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years of experience operating automatic production lines. 1 year of experience in grinding applications. Grinding Basics certification or training. Preferred Education and Experience Apprenticeship training in manufacturing, machining, mechanical operations, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field. ABB / Fanuc Robots Operating certification or training. Experience operating and monitoring automatic straightening machines and fully automatic grinding lines. Experience with grinding belt preparation, adjustment, and cutting tool changes. Experience performing visual quality inspections and maintaining production quality standards. Experience troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on grinding line machinery. Position Requirements Basic mechanical skills and understanding of grinding processes. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Experience in robot handling. Strong attention to detail. Focus on production of high-quality parts. Strong communication skills. Analytical and systematic thinking skills. Continuous improvement and optimization mindset. Ability to maintain accurate production, machine performance, and quality inspection records. Proficient English language skills. General working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to adhere to all safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Main Responsibilities Operate and monitor automated straightening machines and fully automatic grinding lines to ensure efficient and quality production of parts. Adjust and change grinding belts and cutting tools. Prepare grinding belts for production operations. Perform visual quality inspections after the grinding process to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Make process adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality. Perform routine maintenance on grinding line machinery to support optimal equipment performance. Troubleshoot grinding line machinery issues to minimize downtime. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and product quality. Maintain accurate records of production data, machine performance, and quality inspections. Complete other duties as required.
