This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, diagnosing problems, and figuring out why a machine or process isn't operating correctly. Previous plastics or molding experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are very interested in candidates with strong mechanical aptitude who can learn the technical aspects of the manufacturing process. Candidates with backgrounds in industrial maintenance, automotive repair, machine operation/setup, manufacturing, CNC, equipment repair, electromechanical work, or similar hands-on technical environments are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Monitor production equipment and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality output. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues using a logical, systematic approach. Diagnose production problems and make adjustments to keep equipment operating efficiently. Learn and maintain established machine and process parameters. Perform minor maintenance and adjustments on production equipment and tooling. Identify potential equipment, tooling, or process issues before they create larger production problems. Inspect finished components and utilize measuring/inspection equipment to verify quality. Document equipment and process performance and communicate issues to appropriate team members. Work closely with production, maintenance, tooling, and quality personnel to resolve manufacturing problems. Assist with process improvements designed to increase efficiency, quality, and equipment performance. Help train and support other team members as experience is gained. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing, mechanical, maintenance, automotive, machine operation, equipment repair, or other hands-on technical experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability are highly valued. Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply operate equipment. Comfortable working with tools and performing minor equipment adjustments or repairs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to follow specifications, work instructions, and established processes. Basic computer and math skills. Ability to use or learn measuring and inspection equipment. Willingness and ability to learn new equipment, processes, and technical skills. Previous plastics, injection molding, or process technician experience is a plus, but not required. Schedule This position works a rotating 12-hour schedule: Rotating schedule of 3 days on / 2 days off, followed by 2 days on / 3 days off Some overtime may be required based on production needs. Physical & Work Environment Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods. Ability to work with small components and hand tools. Ability to lift or move up to approximately 55 lbs. when necessary. Work is performed primarily in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Required personal protective equipment will be provided as appropriate. Why This Opportunity?
