This is an entry-level role focused on learning processes, food safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced co-packing environment. Position Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation, and perform other duties as assigned. Works in a fast-paced, high- speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in continuous improvement environment. Perform line support tasks such as packing, palletizing, labeling checks, and material handling. When applicable, the operator assists with line startups, changeovers, and sanitation activities. Performs visual quality checks to ensure labels, cartons, trays are appropriately assembled and displayed. Reports any machinery or quality issues to management. Assists in setting up and cleaning up responsibilities. Ensures production floor safety and cleanliness; no debris is to be left on the floor at the end of the day, garbage and recycling are emptied as needed. Works in all areas of production as needed. Meets all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements; participate in food safety meetings as required. Cultivates and promotes a strong safety culture and follows all safety policies, procedures and regulations; identifies and communicates workplace hazards and corrects or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions; participates in safety meetings as required.

Required Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing (food and beverage industry preferred) environment is a plus Ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team environment to attain personal, team and company goals Ability to respond to production issues in a timely manner Ability to learn and adapt to changing priorities Work Expectations On-site position Must be available to work daily and extended hours as needed to support production Work Environment and Physical Demands Work is performed in a warehouse environment, manufacturing plant and occasionally outside in what may be adverse weather conditions. The work environment can involve exposure to heat, cold, humidity, moving machinery, noise, visual strain, close quarters, fumes, odors, dust mists, and gases. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position requires long periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing and operating machinery. The employee should be able to lift and/or move items up to up to 50+ pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Required to perform essential functions at heights more than 8 feet.
