Job Description

Starting Wage:
$21.93/hr. Plus $2.00 Shift Premium Job Objective To operate all stamping equipment and make minor adjustments to maintain safety, quality, and productivity. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Ability to review work schedules to make sure jobs are started and completed on time. 2. The ability to set up, operate and maintain the stamping press to produce parts according to specifications, ensuring quality, and adhering to safety procedures. 3. Performing quality checks on parts that are being produced, ensuring that they meet specifications and standards. 4. The ability to identify and resolve minor processing issues or production issues while maintaining safety, quality, and performance. 5. The ability to load and unload raw materials and finished products while maintaining safety, quality, and rates. 6. Maintains accurate records of production quality, quality issues, job information, machine issues, tooling issues, and safety issues. 7. Communicate with supervisors, process engineer, process technician, and operators about production issues or concerns. 8. Participate in improving production processes and efficiency. 9. Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing the appropriate PPE. 10. Maintains proper lubrication of dies and cleans machines. 11. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition using 5S principles to minimize safety hazards and lost-time accidents. 12. Performs other duties as assigned. 13. This position supports the continual improvement and compliance of QMS and EMS. 14. Maintains a good attendance record. 15. Responsible to perform his or her job functions in a manner that supports TriMark's mission, vision, and values in order for the company to attain its strategic and growth goals.
Skills, Abilities, and Experience Required Mechanical Aptitude:
A good understanding of machinery and mechanical principles.

Math Skills:
Basic math skills for measurement and calculation.

Ability to communicate effectively with the supervisor and other team members.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavier objects.
Safety Awareness:
Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Judgment Required To determine the quality of product being produced. To operate a forklift and other machinery in a safe manner. To provide information to the A operator as needed to determine cause of improper parts so adjustments can be made in a minimum of time. Core Competencies Perform Startup and Shutdown procedures Ensure that they can shut down or startup equipment with good manufacturing practices, operating procedures, and safety procedures Read and Understand Work Instructions Ensure that all work instructions are understood before performing the tasks Communication Convey information to others effectively Quality Standards Troubleshooting Determine causes of operating errors and find a solution on how to address Determine the root cause of quality issues and determine solutions or steps to fix Determine safety issues as well as safety improvement Working Conditions Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet the company's business demands. Exposure to hazards of machine operation and some contact with oils, lubricants, coolant, and cleaning solvent, with occasional oil fumes in the area. Noise levels are between 90-95. The work area is dry, and temperatures are normal for the season. Uniform safety practices consist of safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other devices as required. This area requires normal or corrected vision, normal depth perception, peripheral vision of 180 degrees, and no color deficiency. Physical Effort Bending
