Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly & Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in a machine shop environment. The assembly & production technician will perform a key role in our post-machining process and be responsible for operating polishing machinery, inspecting parts for defects, and assembling various components. This position will also assist in the packaging of parts for final sale. The ideal candidate has an attention to detail, and the ability to work with hand tools, measuring equipment, and mechanical components in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Operate polishing machinery according to established procedures. Inspect components to verify finish quality, dimensions, and tolerances. Assemble components according to engineered drawings, work instructions, and specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment safely and accurately. Read and follow detailed work instructions. Perform routine maintenance, inspections of equipment, and cleaning of machines Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Document production data using ERP system, ensure accurate counts and job quantities. Requirements Prior manufacturing, mechanical assembly, machine operation or production experience beneficial. High attention to detail and ability to focus on precision work. Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machines and familiarity with hand tools, wrenches, hammers, drivers etc. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Perform in a high production environment. Show ability to multitask, ensure both high efficiency and high quality. Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills. Desire to excel, with pride in producing high-quality parts. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40 lbs. as needed. Basic math skills.
