Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and ready to build something great? Interstate Group is hiring a full-time Robot Operator to oversee our robotic welding and fabrication systems. In this role, you'll play a critical part in producing high-quality trailer components in a safe, efficient, and team-driven manufacturing environment.
Location:
Nampa, ID Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7am - 5:30pm. Potentially Fridays for Overtime, 7am - 12pm.
What You'll Do Operate & Oversee:
Set up, run, and monitor robotic welding and fabrication machinery.
Load & Unload:
Secure trailer components and assemblies into robot fixtures accurately.
Inspect Quality:
Read blueprints and welding symbols to inspect completed parts against industry standards; use tape measures to ensure precise dimensions.
Maintain & Troubleshoot:
Perform routine maintenance like cleaning nozzles, replacing tips, and checking sensors, making minor program adjustments as needed.
Collaborate:
Work alongside other welders, engineers, and quality assurance teams while documenting production and logging issues. What You'll Need Strong safety mindset and strict adherence to safety protocols. Comprehensive welding knowledge to achieve quality welds with the robot. Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, welding symbols, and a tape measure with high precision. Understanding of manufacturing machines, tools, and basic robotic operation troubleshooting. Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varied shop conditions (hot/cold, noisy manufacturing setup).
