Position Summary We are seeking motivated experienced professionals with at least 2 years of manufacturing or lab operations experience in an aseptic process environment. As a Production Technician, you will play a hands-on role in executing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting cross-functional operations in a regulated, high-impact environment. This position offers exposure to diverse product types and technologies—including biologics, sterile liquids, tissue-based materials, and veterinary products—making it an ideal opportunity for those looking to start or grow a career in biomanufacturing. The Production Technician is responsible for executing manufacturing processes according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and cGMP guidelines. This role involves working with a variety of equipment and raw materials to produce sterile and non-sterile products for our clients across animal health, tissue processing, and biopharma sectors. Key Responsibilities Perform production activities including formulation, blending, filling, labeling, and packaging of products. Operate, clean, and maintain manufacturing equipment (e.g., mixers, filtration units, bioreactors, centrifuges, laminar flow hoods). Follow batch production records (BPRs), SOPs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Assist in set-up and tear-down of production suites, cleanrooms, or controlled environments. Accurately document all manufacturing activities in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements. Maintain clean and organized workspaces to ensure compliance with safety and contamination control standards. Support in-process testing and basic analytical procedures (e.g., pH, conductivity) as needed. Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues. Identify and report deviations or non-conformances in real-time to ensure product integrity. Participate in continuous improvement efforts and process optimization.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Experience with aseptic process techniques, cleanroom environments, or biologics manufacturing Bachelor's degree preferred Curious, hands-on, eager to learn regulated manufacturing processes. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and procedural compliance. Experience in a GMP-regulated production environment (preferred experience in biopharma, animal health, or tissue processing).
Key Competencies:
Strong organizational and time management skills - attention to detail Willingness to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and uphold strict quality standards. Familiarity with cGMP, ISO, and regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing. Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic batch record entry. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Comfortable working in controlled environments, including cleanrooms and biosafety zones. Computer literacy with exposure to electronic documentation systems a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work in cleanroom gowning environments and follow aseptic practices.
