PET Configuration Test Department is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems and computer-based diagnostic imaging equipment. This role requires hands-on work with tools, test equipment, and technical documentation in a team-oriented environment. Required Qualifications
  • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, or computer-based systems.
  • Follow written procedures and technical drawings to perform tasks.
  • Accurately record data and findings in internal systems.
  • Use provided tools and test equipment (e.g., cordless screwdrivers, torque wrenches, digital multimeters).
  • Some roles may involve occasional handling of low-level radioactive components (safety measures provided). Required Qualifications
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technical skills.
  • Ability to read and follow step-by-step procedures.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings (e.g., mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams).
  • Strong attention to detail when logging data electronically or on paper.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally. Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools (e.g., torque wrenches, Atlas Copco smart tools, Faro Lasers).
  • Experience using electrical test instruments (e.g., digital multimeters, ground bond testers).
  • Experience installing software on computer systems.
  • Availability to work 1st shift and occasional overtime (including some weekends).
  • Post-secondary education in a technical field (e.g., Mechatronics certification, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field).
  • Prior work experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
