Job Description

Our food manufacturing plant is seeking dedicated Production Packaging Technicians. If you have a background in manufacturing and take pride in troubleshooting machinery while upholding rigorous safety and quality benchmarks, this role is a great fit for you.
Compensation:
Starting at $18.00 per hour, with potential for $21.00 or more based on experience upon permanent hire.

Opportunity for permanent placement in as little as 60 days. Key Duties Manage and oversee the performance of packaging and production machinery. Ensure product excellence by verifying weights, seal integrity, coding, and metal detection. Perform minor machine calibrations and resolve operational malfunctions. Notify management or maintenance personnel regarding technical equipment failures. Maintain accurate production logs and input data into computer systems. Help maintain a tidy and efficient workspace by clearing away scrap materials. Adhere strictly to all quality, GMP, and safety protocols. Utilize necessary protective gear and maintain high standards of sanitation. Engage in ongoing training and support team improvement initiatives. Support various production duties as the workflow requires. Required Skills Prior experience in a production or manufacturing setting is advantageous. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and mechanical intuition. Possess fundamental computer and mathematical proficiency. Show the ability to comprehend and execute written directives. Thrive in a high-speed production atmosphere. Show flexibility to work extra hours when the schedule demands. Successful completion of a drug screen and background check is required. Physical Demands Capacity to remain standing and mobile for the duration of your shift. Frequent need to crouch, kneel, reach, and bend. Capability to lift weights of up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform tasks in environments with dust while utilizing mandatory safety equipment. Compensation and Coverage We provide access to medical insurance options including
