1st Shift - Production Technician

Responsibilities What You'll Do:

Operate machinery and use tools to meet production goals. Maintain high production standards by adhering to quality and safety protocols. Cross-train in various roles within the Production department to support the team. Report equipment malfunctions, process deficiencies, and any unsafe conditions. Complete production documentation and ensure products meet customer specifications. Perform daily risk assessments at the beginning of each shift. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience:

A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.

Skills:

Strong basic math skills and the ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures.

Teamwork:

Ability to work well both independently and within a team, while managing multiple tasks.

Language:

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day with potential overtime as needed.

Physical Demands:

This role requires standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching regularly. Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities including close vision and color distinction. Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324(a)(3)

Work Environment:

Primarily on the production floor with constant exposure to dust and mechanical parts. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes and safety glasses is required.
