Position Overview:
The Value-Add Technician is a hands-on role focused on the efficient set-up of White Glove services, repair, and disassembly of various technology assets. Located on-site at Secured Tech, you will be responsible for executing technical workflows with high precision, maintaining strict quality standards, and hitting daily production targets. The ideal candidate has an interest in technology, sharp attention to detail, the ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks, and a desire to learn. Working under the guidance of the Team Lead and Assistant Manager of Value-Add, you will ensure every device is handled with care and meets our quality expectations.
Fundamental Role Responsibilities:
Technical Execution & Repair:
Diagnostics & Repair:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices (including Apple, Windows, and Chrome-based hardware) to maximize their resale value.
Component Harvesting:
Efficiently disassemble various IT assets for component harvesting, sorting, and reuse according to company best practices.
Tool Proficiency:
Safely and effectively use specialized repair tools, diagnostic software, and warehouse equipment.
White-Glove Quality & Handling:
Adhere to
Standards:
Follow strict White Glove procedures for asset tracking, exact labeling, and specific device enrollment requirements.
Packaging & Presentation:
Clean, package, and handle customer assets according to exact specifications to ensure client expectations.
Accuracy:
Maintain a low error rate by carefully verifying serial numbers and project specifications.
Daily Operations & Safety:
Meet Deadlines:
Consistently achieve daily production quotas and strict processing deadlines.
Workplace Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
Teamwork & Flexibility:
Adapt to changing production priorities and flex to support other operational areas as directed by leadership.
Continuous Learning:
Training Engagement:
Actively participate in onboarding and continuous training via our LMS platform and on-the-floor mentorship.
Skill Development:
Work through the company's tiered technician model to advance your hardware knowledge, technical skills, and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior experience in electronics repair, warehouse production, tech retail, or a similar fast-paced environment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Basic understanding of technology devices, operating systems (iOS/macOS, Windows, ChromeOS), and internal hardware components. Attention to detail with the ability to follow multi-step written and verbal instructions precisely. Comfortable with repetitive tasks requiring fine motor skills, and able to stand or sit for extended periods in a production environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.

$17.00 per hour
