Onsite Job Description Job Description:

The Machine Operator works in a team environment to set-up and operate a production line to meet customer specifications, with the responsibility of all aspects including quality, waste, and efficiency of the machine.

This position reports to the Production Supervisor but can also take direction from the Team Leader assigned to the area.

Responsibilities:

Set up/Adjust machine components based upon customer orders/work order specs.

Run machine to produce product to fulfil customer order.

Observe machine operation, gauges, meters and controls to ensure safety, quality and uniformity.

Monitor the production and provide quick timely response to any equipment malfunctions.

Periodically check product ensure quality by using measuring tape, machine caliper and gauges.

Completes appropriate paperwork and provide accurate information related to waste, down time, machine maintenance and efficiency.

Identify and record any problems relating to products and processes.

Keep the work area clean using 6S process.

Other duties as required

Requirements:

6 - 12 months related experience. Experience with small hand tools and simple machine controls.
