Alliance Technical Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our Indianapolis team.
Job Summary:
The Senior Manufacturing Technician I independently manages standard to moderately complex Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) builds from assembly through testing. This role serves as a technical resource for production troubleshooting, provides guidance to manufacturing technicians, and supports quality and process improvement initiatives.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provide training and technical guidance to Manufacturing Technicians Assist with onboarding and development of new technicians No direct supervisory responsibilitiesDuties/Responsibilities:
Independently assemble, integrate, and test standard to moderately complex CEMS systems, trailers, and shelters Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, analyzer, and DAS issues during production Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics and identify potential build or design issues Configure and verify analyzer and DAS settings for standard system configurations Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure systems meet specifications Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and manufacturing process improvements Maintain accurate production, testing, and calibration documentation Support field commissioning, system startup, and customer training as needed Promote established safety, quality, and 5S standardsRequired Skills/Abilities:
Advanced mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and troubleshooting skills Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics Knowledge of CEMS, DAS, gas analyzers, and industrial instrumentation Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to train and provide technical guidance to other technicians Ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesEducation and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training or associate degree preferred Four to six years of manufacturing, industrial assembly, electrical, or instrumentation experience preferred Experience with CEMS, DAS, gas analyzers, PLCs, or industrial instrumentation preferred Previous experience training or guiding technicians preferredPhysical Demands:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as neededWork Environment:
Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Approximately 10-20% travel may be required for commissioning and customer support Starting pay rate: $30/HR DOE Key Benefits Include:
