Quality Control In-Line Technician - 2nd
Shift Location:
Arkansas City, KS About the Role The Quality Control In-Line Technician plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This position monitors production processes, performs inspections, and documents results to maintain KanPak's high standards for beverage and food products. What You'll Do Conduct in-line product evaluations, including physical, chemical, and sensory testing Inspect packaging integrity through visual checks and tear-down analysis Verify correct labeling and packaging formats Monitor, record, and verify processing parameters Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards Maintain accurate documentation and quality records Partner with production teams to resolve quality issues Follow all safety, sanitation, and regulatory procedures What You'll Need High School Diploma or GED required 2-3 years of related experience preferred 6-12 months of food manufacturing experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Effective communication skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting Reliability, accountability, and integrity
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent reaching, handling, and manual inspection work Occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching Visual acuity including close, distance, and color vision
The Schedule & Setting Shift:
2nd Shift (2pm-10pm)
Hours:
40+ hours per week; 5-6 days per week
Environment:
