Job Description

What This Role Is This role is responsible for helping the shop stay productive. You will support production by moving materials, staging jobs, operating forklifts, loading trucks, making deliveries, assisting craftsmen, and handling the countless tasks required to keep work moving efficiently. This is often the entry point into our production team. Strong performers can develop skills, take on additional responsibility, and grow into machine operator, cabinet builder, millwork craftsman, installation, or leadership roles over time. This role is about reliability, effort, and helping the team win. What This Role Isn't Not a standing-around position Not a role for someone who needs constant supervision Not a place to hide from hard work Not a role where "that's not my job" is an acceptable answer The best people in this role are dependable, adaptable, and willing to do whatever is needed to keep production moving. What You'll Own Shop Support Assist production team members as needed Support cabinet builders, machine operators, and craftsmen Help keep work moving throughout the shop Identify opportunities to improve organization and efficiency Material Movement & Logistics Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment Move raw materials, work-in-process, and completed products throughout the facility Load and unload deliveries and company vehicles Stage materials and completed work for production, delivery, and installation Maintain organization of inventory, storage, and production areas Delivery Support Assist with local deliveries and pickups Safely operate company vehicles when assigned Ensure materials and completed work arrive accurately and in good condition Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors Shop Organization Maintain clean and organized work areas Remove scrap and waste materials Keep tools, equipment, and materials where they belong Contribute to a safe and productive work environment Reliability Show up on time Be ready to work every day Follow through on assignments Support the team wherever needed What You'll Do Day-to-Day Operate forklifts and material handling equipment Load and unload deliveries and production materials Move materials throughout the facility Assist with local deliveries and pickups Support craftsmen and production personnel Clean and organize production areas Help prepare jobs for production and delivery Support the team wherever help is needed What We're Looking For Strong work ethic Reliable attendance and punctuality Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to follow directions and work safely Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the day Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability or willingness to learn forklift operation Desire to contribute to a team environment Preferred Backgrounds Construction Manufacturing Warehouse operations Delivery and logistics Forklift operation Skilled trades Experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
