The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing or someone who pays attention to detail and enjoys working with their hands. Major Duties:

Accurately and effectively operates ingredient blending, extrusion, filling, packing and other production related equipment on a daily basis and as needed. Performs equipment cleaning and sanitation operations on a daily basis and facility cleaning operations periodically or as requested by management. Helps train new employees on all equipment to ensure proper and efficient use. Operates label applicator and readies the appropriate packaging for filling applications. Applies Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety requirements to the daily performance of the job and produces high quality products in a safe manner. Troubleshoots and perform routine maintenance on basic manufacturing equipment components and trains new employees on the same. Adheres to Bimini Pet Health's food safety policies. Effectively communicates and works with others to achieve goals and initiatives. Maintains a clean work environment throughout the facility. Protects Bimini's value by keeping information confidential. Performs other work-related duties as the need arises.

Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of all pre-employment background check, drug screening and physical capacity assessments. High School Diploma or GED. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be able to accurately type and insert data into required forms. Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution, problem solving, time management, goal setting, and prioritization. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff and management. Ability to accurately read, interpret, and follow the directions of all recipes, instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Physical Demands:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to forty (40) pounds, including above the head and push/pull or carry up to fifty (50) pounds using tote dollies and platform trucks. Ability to use hands and arms for reaching/handling purposes. Ability to perform frequent physical activities which require considerable use of arms, legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, squatting, and bending while handling various materials. Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ability to tolerate exposure to food allergens. Employee must be able to work any shift (day or night) including but not limited to weekends and holidays if a business need arises. Ability to climb steps on a frequent basis as well as stand on or move around on platforms, equipment and concrete floor.

Work Environment:

Duties are performed in a professional and clean manufacturing environment in a production facility (or office setting dependent on type of job duty performed.) Exposure to airborne particles, food dust and food allergens.
