Laboratory Technician Job Details Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00
PM Pay Rate :
$18.90-$21.00/hr based on experience
Location :
Florence, KY Laboratory Technician Requirements/Qualifications Resume required — no profile sheet. Interview required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous laboratory or microbiology experience preferred. Food manufacturing or regulated-facility experience preferred. Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records. Basic computer and math skills. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to work in a controlled testing environment. About the Laboratory Technician Role As a Laboratory Technician, your responsibilities will include: Perform microbiological testing on ingredients, products, and samples. Follow established testing procedures and quality standards. Collect and document samples and test results. Assist with laboratory swabbing and documentation. Prepare laboratory materials and supplies. Maintain clean and organized testing areas. Enter test results and sample information into spreadsheets. Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment. Assist with quality and pre-operational verification activities. Prepare samples for shipment when needed. Report test results and concerns to appropriate personnel.
