About the role:
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for manufacturing customised endless conveyor belts to customer specifications, quality standards, and production targets. Working as part of a skilled production team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products safely, efficiently, and in line with our lean manufacturing principles. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to health and safety. What you'll be doing: Manufacturing customised endless conveyor belts in accordance with technical specifications and standard operating procedures. Operating production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Preparing materials and carry out finishing processes as required. Inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met. Completing all production documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Organising workload effectively to achieve daily output targets and efficiency rates. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area in line with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Participating in risk assessments, safety audits, and continuous improvement activities. Contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives and support a culture of continuous improvement. Carrying out additional reasonable duties as required to support the production team.
About You:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to lift moderate to heavy weights. Ability to follow written procedures and technical instructions accurately. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
