Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Able to read and understand directions, blueprints, procedures, and specification sheets.
Able to take inventory of products used on the Wash Line
Able to measure volumes to determine the concentration of Wash Line chemical mixes.
Current Forklift Operator Certification. Job Duties Operates the wash line sprayer, spinner area, and tote bin washer.
Verify that a quality Wash Line process has occurred and the cleaning process is followed.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, i.e., min/max on chemicals & equipment checks.
Set up, maintain, and adjust Wash Line sprayer equipment.
Provide information to supervisors/managers.
Follow correct procedures for Wash Line processes.
Determine the correct concentration level for the chemical wash mix.
Keep an inventory of chemicals used in the wash process and notify supervisor when order points are hit.
Handle parts and materials used on the Wash Line.
Position and maneuver products, parts, and equipment on the Wash Line manually, using a hoist and the manipulator.
Position ladder and box to get in and out of products on the Wash Line
Perform any other duties as assigned by the manager Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Wash Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 60 pounds.
Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
