AM Job Description:

The Associate Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for operating, setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment used in medical device production.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate manufacturing equipment to meet production, safety, and quality standards. Troubleshoot machine faults, clear stoppages, and resolve basic equipment issues. Perform routine preventive maintenance, including equipment cleaning, inspection, and lubrication. Monitor machine operations using Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs). Use measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify product dimensions and tolerances. Maintain raw material supplies and support production schedules. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety guidelines. Maintain production records and report equipment or quality issues. Support process improvements, equipment validations, and new product manufacturing activities.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of on-the-job manufacturing experience. Hands-on experience operating manufacturing equipment, preferably automated machinery. Basic mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and follow work instructions and maintain accurate records. Basic mathematical skills and familiarity with measuring tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or other precision manufacturing environments. Familiarity with HMIs, robotics, automated assembly, and preventive maintenance. Experience with GMP, cleanroom operations, or quality inspection processes. Knowledge of tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
