Job Description
Lab and Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrification lab equipment, test systems, and facility infrastructure. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or technical support Experience with electrical systems Experience with plumbing systems Experience with mechanical systems Mechanical troubleshooting skills Electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation Experience using diagnostic tools, including multimeters and oscilloscopes Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking Valid driver's license Ability to work in laboratory, shop, and facility environments Ability to perform physical activity, including lifting and standing Availability for occasional off-shift or on-call work Preferred Skills Two-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Maintenance, or related field Experience with lab equipment or test equipment Experience with electrification systems, including motors, inverters, and batteries Experience with calibration equipment, including thermal chambers and power analyzers Background in mechatronics, automation, or robotics Familiarity with preventative maintenance systems Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of lab equipment, test systems, and fixtures Support setup, modification, and operation of test benches, dynamometers, and electrification systems Build, modify, and maintain test harnesses, loads, and test fixtures Diagnose equipment issues using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools Inspect and repair electrical and mechanical assemblies Perform thermal chamber calibration and verification Maintain calibration records in compliance with lab standards Support validation and maintenance tasks as directed Perform building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs Execute preventative maintenance on facility systems Support grounds maintenance, snow removal, and minor construction projects Troubleshoot facility-related issues impacting lab operations Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on lab and facility equipment Maintain maintenance, calibration, and work order records Support equipment uptime and reliability Support lead-time tracking and maintenance scheduling
Pay:
