About Us Myriad Fiber Imaging is a privately held, family-owned company that has been in business for over 30 years. We are a leading manufacturer of Medical Devices and Fiber Optic Solutions , serving both the medical and industrial fields. We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and career-minded Production Technician to join our team at our Dudley, MA manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, technical work and wants to grow with a stable, long-established company. Responsibilities Perform specialized assembly of fiber optic/electronic components and assemblies Assemble and rework electronic components using soldering irons Assemble cables and wires with soldered connectors Perform fiber optic grinding, polishing, and lensing Conduct optical and mechanical tests on fiber optic components and assemblies Work from specifications, schematics, technical manuals, and written or verbal instructions Organize and maintain inventory Support continuous improvement efforts within production Essential Skills and Experience 2-3 years of relevant experience in precision assembly or manufacturing Strong soldering skills Ability to work under a microscope on delicate and intricate components Experience assembling and troubleshooting precision mechanical or electronic components Proficiency in reading drawings, sketches, and test procedures Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Benefits Fully paid health insurance Paid vacation Competitive pay Matching 401(k) If you're looking for a long-term career with a company that values skill, dedication, and growth, we'd love to hear from you.
