Job Description

job summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to work Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 2:30pm for a 6-month contract in Mansfield, MA. This 100% on-site, first-shift role is an exceptional opportunity to join a collaborative environment and directly impact the quality of life-saving surgical instrumentation.

Mansfield, Massachusetts job type: Contract work hours: 7 to 3 education: High School responsibilities: Perform finishing techniques including buffing, polishing, grinding, deburring, and etching on medical device products. Load and unload surgical instruments within a laser marking machining center. Utilize basic measuring equipment such as optical comparators and video measurement equipment. Conduct routine visual inspections to identify defects and ensure compliance with blueprints and quality specifications. Maintain organized documentation and a clean laboratory/manufacturing work environment.
qualifications:
High School Diploma, Vocational Education, or equivalent. 2 to 4 years of experience reading blueprints and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales, and indicators). Proven ability to work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Strong communication skills to effectively exchange technical information within the team.
